Project
Sol Spaces Inc. has joined forces with the Alberta Avenue Community League in Edmonton, Alberta to construct a greenhouse for the community. The greenhouse will serve as a space for residents to grow their own fruits, vegetables, and herbs while also acting as a community gathering place.
The greenhouse will be constructed using sustainable and eco-friendly materials and practices, in keeping with Sol Spaces Inc.'s commitment to sustainability. It will have a rainwater collection system to minimize water waste and solar panels to power the greenhouse's ventilation and lighting systems, as well as supply power for use in the community gardens.
The Alberta Avenue Community League is an active and dynamic community center that hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year. The greenhouse will provide an opportunity for the community to come together and participate in gardening and other activities that promote sustainability.
Overall, the project's goal is to encourage sustainability, community engagement, and healthy lifestyles in the Alberta Avenue area. The construction of the greenhouse will motivate residents to participate actively in growing their food and creating a more sustainable community.
